How to get the best deal on your park tickets
Getting the best deal on your theme park tickets is something you will no doubt want to do.
There are literally hundreds of places you can buy tickets and depending on when you buy them and how you buy them, there will be different offers available. There are also lots of different options available. There are multiple day passes; passes that allow you to hop from park to park; tickets that never expire; tickets that include the waterparks, etc, etc.
Important point to note: Disney never discount their tickets at the gate. Unlike other attractions where you can pick up coupons for discounts, you won’t be able to do this for any of the Disney attractions. Some reputable outlets (see our list of recommended outlets) will offer a few dollars off each ticket, and unless you want to sit through a timeshare presentation, this will likely be the best deal you can get. But, getting the best deal depends on a number of things – see the tips below for what you need to consider.
Disney Park Tickets
Tip 1 Shop Around. This might sound obvious but it’s worth it. Check out as many outlets selling tickets as you have time for. You can start with taking a look at the prices at our preferred partner, Kissimme Guest Services - KGS (www.KGStickets) or our other recommended outlets. For Disney tickets it is always worth checking out the prices on the official Disney sites (http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com)
If you have booked a package holiday, your tour operator will probably have an offer on tickets. If there has been some fluctuation in the exchange rates these might be cheaper than elsewhere –then again they might not be. Sometimes big conferences come to the area and the conference organisers buy Disney Park tickets for delegates which don’t get used and reputable outlets buy these and sell them on – sometimes there’s a deal there if you’re lucky. So, the message is, to get the best deal shop around.
Tip 2 Decide how many days you will need. The more days you buy, the cheaper it works out per day. It’s worth planning your trip on a day to day basis before you go so you can get the best deal available. Currently Disney World does not offer discounts on one or two day tickets. The discounts only kick in if you go for three days or more

Tip 3 Park Hopper Ticket Disney offer so many combinations of tickets it's mind-boggling. There's the Park Hopper tickets which allows you to move between parks in the same day. Unless you think you will want to move between the parks on the same day, DONT buy a Park Hopper ticket as this is a more expensive ticket than the standard ticket.
Most families do not use the Park Hopper Option because the Disney Parks are so large and they are so far apart. It takes a good 30 minutes to hop from one Disney World park to another Disney park, and if you have small children, this can turn into quite a challenge. . Be sure you are going to want to go down the park hopper route before you splash out on the more expensive ticket.
Tip 4 Magic Plus Tickets. But what about the other parks like Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Pleasure Island and Disney Quest? If you plan on visiting these parks (and you probably will!) the "magic plus" ticket will be the cheapest option. This allows you to go to the main Disney parks, plus the water parks or Disney Quest or Pleasure Island. This type of tickets can save you loads of money. The more days you buy of regular tickets the more days you get at these other parks. For example, to add the Magic Plus Disney World Ticket option was just $54 last year - regardless of how many days you bought. For example, if you bought a 10 day magic plus ticket you would get 10 days theme park entry and 5 days water parks/Disney Quest - all for just $54 extra. If you only had a 4 day Disney World magic plus ticket you would get 3 visits to the other parks (still for just $54).
